BS Programs

Academics

BS Programs

Our four‑year Bachelor of Science programmes are designed to develop specialised knowledge and practical skills. Each programme combines theory, research and hands‑on training to prepare students for graduate study and professional careers.

BS Chemistry

This programme provides a comprehensive understanding of chemical principles, including organic, inorganic and physical chemistry. Students develop critical thinking and analytical skills through laboratory work and research projects.

BS Political Science

This programme explores political theory, governance, public policy and international relations. Students develop critical thinking and analytical skills to understand political systems and processes.

BS Economics

Students explore micro and macroeconomics, econometrics, public finance and development economics. The degree prepares graduates for careers in economic analysis, policy and finance.

BS English

This programme focuses on literature, linguistics, and creative writing. Students develop strong analytical and communication skills through the study of diverse texts and genres.

BS Islamiyat

This programme provides a comprehensive understanding of Islamic studies, including Quranic studies, Hadith, Islamic history and jurisprudence. Students develop critical thinking and analytical skills to engage with contemporary issues from an Islamic perspective.

Programmes Offered

The college offers a variety of programmes at intermediate and degree levels in accordance with the curriculum and regulations of the Board of Intermediate and Secondary Education and the University of the Punjab:

  • Intermediate (2 years): F.A. Humanities, F.Sc. Pre‑Medical, F.Sc. Pre‑Engineering, I.Com and I.C.S.
  • Degree (2 years): B.A. and B.Sc.
  • Four‑Year BS Programmes: BS Physics, BS Computer Science, BS Economics, BS Applied Psychology, BS Mathematics and B.Com.

Admissions

Admission Guidelines

Admissions to all programmes are granted purely on merit subject to Government policies and the rules of the Board and University. Please read the following guidelines before submitting your application:

  • Admissions open immediately after the announcement of Board/University results. Application forms can be obtained from the college office.
  • Incomplete forms or forms submitted without the required documents will not be considered.
  • Separate merit lists are prepared for each programme. Reserved seats are allocated according to government policies.
  • Candidates must present original documents at the time of interview and deposit of fee.
Admissions

Required Documents

  • Attested copies of Matric/Intermediate/Bachelor result cards and certificates.
  • Attested photocopy of the candidate’s B‑Form or National Identity Card and father/guardian’s CNIC.
  • Character certificate from the Head of the institution last attended.
  • Four recent passport‑size photographs with a blue background.
  • Migration certificate (for candidates from other Boards/Universities).
Rules

Discipline & Uniform

  • Students must wear the prescribed college uniform at all times on campus.
  • Mobile phones are prohibited during college hours; violation may result in confiscation or disciplinary action.
  • Wearing jewellery or heavy make‑up is not permitted.
  • Late entry without permission is not allowed. Leaving the campus during college hours is strictly prohibited.
  • Students must observe silence and maintain discipline in the library and classroom.
