Government Graduate College for Women Wapda Town Lahore offers intermediate and undergraduate degrees that comply with curricula prescribed by the Board of Intermediate and Secondary Education and the University of the Punjab. These programmes combine classroom learning with practical experience to prepare students for their future endeavours.

Intermediate Degrees (2 Years)

  • F.Sc Pre‑Medical: Emphasises Biology, Chemistry and Physics for students aiming for medical and allied health fields.
  • F.Sc Pre‑Engineering: Focuses on Mathematics, Physics and Chemistry to prepare students for engineering and technology programmes.
  • F.A Arts: Offers a flexible combination of social sciences, languages and arts subjects for a broad‑based education.
  • F.A IT: Combines computer science with mathematics and physics or statistics for students interested in information technology.
  • I.C.S: Combines computer science with mathematics and physics or statistics for students interested in information technology.

Undergraduate Degrees (4 Years)

  • BS.Political-Science: A four-year bachelor's degree focusing on political science, government, and public policy.
  • BS.Chemistry: A four-year bachelor's degree focusing on chemistry and its applications in various fields.

Admissions

Admission Guidelines

Admissions to all programmes are granted purely on merit subject to Government policies and the rules of the Board and University. Please read the following guidelines before submitting your application:

  • Admissions open immediately after the announcement of Board/University results. Application forms can be obtained from the college office.
  • Incomplete forms or forms submitted without the required documents will not be considered.
  • Separate merit lists are prepared for each programme. Reserved seats are allocated according to government policies.
  • Candidates must present original documents at the time of interview and deposit of fee.
Admissions

Required Documents

  • Attested copies of Matric/Intermediate/Bachelor result cards and certificates.
  • Attested photocopy of the candidate’s B‑Form or National Identity Card and father/guardian’s CNIC.
  • Character certificate from the Head of the institution last attended.
  • Four recent passport‑size photographs with a blue background.
  • Migration certificate (for candidates from other Boards/Universities).
Rules

Discipline & Uniform

  • Students must wear the prescribed college uniform at all times on campus.
  • Mobile phones are prohibited during college hours; violation may result in confiscation or disciplinary action.
  • Wearing jewellery or heavy make‑up is not permitted.
  • Late entry without permission is not allowed. Leaving the campus during college hours is strictly prohibited.
  • Students must observe silence and maintain discipline in the library and classroom.
